The fact that you didn’t win a VMA Award is in your favor and speaks volumes on how hollow an accolade it is. Did you see that Britney Spears tribute? Lame. The VMA’s are all about stunting. I gave in AGAIN!
I had to see Kanye + the new big poppa! Yoo, did Ye give a shout out to Chris Brown (eye brow cocked)? Thought I heard that.
I HAD to see Adele live (I love her). She’s fucking amazing. I felt small butterflies from just her voice.
I had to see the new Kia Soul Hamster ad. “Every day I’m shufflin’….’”

I consumed a lot of chocolate and blueberry muffins waiting on Hurricane Irene.
Also made a nice roast dinner, in case we lost power. At least we’d be well fed from the jump after having to turn to PB&J (blueberry muffins and chocolate bars) for the subsequent 7 day, WHAT?!?! The power NEVER went out? We were lucky.

Movie weekend
“Invictus” is a must see, such a great movie. It took me too long to devote the time to watch it. Such great acting, I got completely swept up into the story and they made me care about a rugby match. Seriously. Rugby.
And I am now going to purchase the complete Clint Eastwood collection. Not that I have THAT much more time to watch it all, but I really need to catch up.
